Asia Song Society is extremely pleased that artist XU HAN WEI is on plane now from New York City to Art Basel, Switzerland to present “5 Durian in Public”.

In complete conjunction to the world class Art Basel vernissage opening 16th June, 2010, Han Wei has painted 10 durian completely white from new york city and will present 5 of them to citizens of Switzertland.

So, 5 durians will be displayed in the storefront of ASS in nyc, but 5 to swiss people.

We are very proud that this is the second presentation of XU HAN WEI.

Please note his first presentation was almost half-page, front page of Arts Section NEW YORK TIMES NEWS, so this is very good for SWISS.

“5 Durian in Public” will be thus shown both in Basel, Switzerland and storefront of Asia Song Society in nyc, 16th june’2010.
